‘Never intended to keep it secret’ Taapsee Pannu on her intimate wedding with Mathias Boe

Actress Taapsee Pannu, who got married to longtime partner Mathias Boe on March 22, at last talked about her private nuptials and said she kept them under wraps to avoid public attention.

Actress Taapsee Pannu, who recently tied the knot in a secretive ceremony with badminton star Mathias Boe, her long-term companion, said she had no intention of keeping the marriage a secret. The celebrity declared that she did not want “public scrutiny” of her personal life, which is why she wanted her wedding festivities to remain private.

“I’m not sure if I want to open my personal life to the kind of scrutiny that happens. I’ve signed up for this, not my partner or the people who were at the wedding,” Taapsee told Hindustan Times. She added, “That’s why I’ve kept it to myself. The intention was never to keep it a secret; I just didn’t want to make it a public affair, because then I’ll start worrying about how it is perceived.”

Taapsee added that she doesn’t want to post any pictures or videos from her wedding on social media. Her wedding video, nevertheless, has already gone viral on social media thanks to her followers.

The ‘Dunki’ actor said, “I have no plans for a release of any kind, and don’t think I’m mentally prepared for that right now. I knew people who were there; they wanted to be there for me and were not present to judge; that’s why I was pretty relaxed.”

Taapsee went on to say that all of the wedding planning was done by her sister, Shagun Pannu, a wedding designer. Shagun went on to say that her sister was not a “bridezilla” and that she cherished the traditions of her wedding that were shared with close friends and family.

In 2013, Taapsee and Mathias grew close. Their friendship soon developed into love, and on March 22, in Udaipur, after dating for more than ten years, they were married. The actor from “Haseen Dilruba” wore a Danish wedding gown designed by Lasse Spangenberg. Her Indian outfit was designed by Mani Bhatia.
