Like every other couple, Neetu and her late actor Rishi Kapoor have had a fair share of ups and downs. They were married for 40 years before the demise of Rishi Kapoor last year.
On a recent visit to a singing reality show ‘Indian Idol 12’ Neetu revealed how during the shooting of the song Jhoota Kahin Ka, she and Rishi had broken up. She also revealed that she was crying in the makeup room and the doctors were putting injections but during the shoot they had to put on fake smiles.
Before Neetu, late actor Rishi Kapoor has also talked about the same event to the media. The actor said, “Jhootha Kahi ka, jo gaana tha. Jo ki jab picturise kar rahe the to mai aur Neetu bilkul baat hi nahi kar rahe the. Humara jhagda ho gaya tha, ladai ho gai thi. Chaar din lage gaana picturise karne me, aur ek din na usne baat ki, na maine usase baat ki. Lekin jab aap parde pe dekhenge to bilkul lagega ki ye ‘in love’ hain, kuch hua ho nahi.”
On March 30th, Neetu took to her Instagram handle and shared a video of two talking about the same incident but at different times. She captioned the video as,”Same story narrated by both of us on different occasions 💕🤩#indianidol12.”
On the work front, Neetu will be next seen in Raj Mehta directed ‘Jug Jugg Jeeyo’ along with Varun Dhawan, Kiara Advani and Anil Kapoor releasing on 4th April 2021.
