Neetu Kapoor recently appeared on Indian Idol 12 and talked about her late husband Rishi Kapoor. The Rishi-Neetu special episode of the show has been teased with numerous promos. Some show Neetu recalling her love story with Rishi Kapoor.
She also revealed that she used to help him “impress girls” before the two started dating. She confessed that she used to be his wing-woman before they fell in love.
“I was Rishi’s wing-woman and always helping him in impressing girls until we started dating. Rishi found me very cute and sweet and we used to call each other Bob,” she said.
“He was in Paris whereas I was in Kashmir, shooting, and suddenly I got a telegram from Rishi saying he misses me and loves me,” she added, talking about the time they realized their love for each other.
Rishi Kapoor passed away in 2020, battling cancer for almost 2 years. Neetu Kapoor and their children, Ranbir and Riddhima, had conducted a prayer meeting earlier this week.
“Since today is Rishiji’s 11-month prayer meet felt like sharing some moments from our last trip to NYC,” Neetu Kapoor wrote on her social media handle.
