Nawazuddin Siddiqui has been making headlines because of his estranged wife Aaliya Siddiqui, who took the path of separation and accused the actor’s family of physical and mental torture.
Recently, Aaliya filed a complaint against Nawaz’s brother Shamas and charged him under 503, 354, 354A, 354D and 509 and unders IPC section 66 of IT Act. These charges are addressed under stalking, breach of peace and being along the lines of modesty.
Responding to these charges, Shamas told Etimes, “I have not got any response from the police. Whenever I am called, I will give my statement.”

Talking to Etimes, Shamas shared that he has been Aaliya’s friend for a long time and he has always supported her decision even when she turned producer with her film ‘Holy Cow’. He said to the portal, “I have known her even before Nawazuddin did. I was the one who introduced them. We have been friends and I never called her bhabhi. When she called me that her film ‘Holy Cow’ has been stuck due to funds, I gave her money with an agreement of Rs 1.30 crore. However over a course of time I had to transfer more money which now amounts to Rs 2.16 crore. We have had so many email exchanges with me asking for my money,”
Now, Nawaz’s brother and ‘Bole Chudiyan’ director Shamas Siddiqui has filed a case against Aaliya for breach of trust and fraud at DCP of Mumbai’s ZONE 9 and a criminal defamation case at the Magistrates Court. He said to the same portal, “Nawazbhai and I have always supported her. I have nothing to do with their divorce case, but now I am being wrongly portrayed.”
On this row, Shamas’ advocate Adnan Shaikh stated, “Legal notices were sent to Aaliya in August and September 2019 for siphoning funds and she refused to give accounts. There have been over 100 email exchanges in this regard.”
This divorce story has taken another twist and it is getting complicated with each revelation from both the parties. Nawazuddin Siddiqui has not issued any statement on his divorce and he has not reacted on this story until now.
