Nana Pateka recalls being abused by Rishi Kapoor due to his short temper over asking for retakes

Nana Patekar is one of the most influential actor in Hindi and Marathi industry. He is known for his versatile roles, but at the same time, he is known for his short temper. In a recent interview, he opened up about working with Rishi Kapoor, who was also known for having short temper, in the 1995 film Hum Dono.

During an interview with Lallantop, the 73-year-old said, “He (Rishi Kapoor) would get angry very quickly.” He went on to explain how due to short temper, Rishi would abuse him when they were working together. He also revealed that the late actor did not like giving retakes and when asked to do so, it would make him even more angry.

As per Bollywood Shaadis, Nana once asked him to give another shot, as the first one was terrible. The late actor replied, “Who is director here? Shafi, or you? Hatao yaar isko.” The Vaccine War insisted on doing a retake as he felt that the take was not good enough, which annoyed Rishi and he started abusing Nana.

During the same interview, the veteran actor revealed that he became friends with Rishi post that movie and the two had a lot of conversations while the latter was being treated for his cancer.
