Mrunal Thakur made her Cannes debut this year, walking the red carpet in a beaded saree. She was dressed in a Falguni and Shane Peacock saree.
Mrunal Thakur appeared in black for her first photoshoot in Cannes on Wednesday. She made her debut red carpet appearance a day later, wearing a beaded saree by Falguni and Shane Peacock. The actor uploaded photos from her red carpet debut on Instagram, saying she felt like a ‘Desi Girl’ in her outfit. Samantha Ruth Prabhu, an actress, extended her love to Mrunal while she was at Cannes.
Mrunal, like Sara Ali Khan, picked an Indian attire for her red carpet debut. She captioned a photo of herself wearing the beaded saree, “Thank you @falgunishanepeacockindia for this absolute stunner and for making me feel like the #DesiGirl I am.” As she passed by the Indian Pavilion, the actor wore a custom-made beaded embroidered saree designed by Falguni and Shane Peacock. She also donned Jimmy Choo shoes and Outhouse jewellery for her earrings.
Mrunal, who was last seen in Gumraah, also posted photos of herself wearing a black Dhruv Kapoor ensemble on Instagram on Wednesday. She posed on a wide patio by the sea in it. She looked stunning in a huge sequined jacket over a black corset, black lace trousers and black heels.
She will be at Cannes for the 76th time through May 19. This year’s edition has many Indian celebrities. At various events, Vijay Varma, Guneet Monga, Urvashi Rautela, Esha Gupta, and Manushi Chhillar have also been spotted on the red carpet.
