Mr and Mrs Mahi: Did you know Janhvi Kapoor had to practise far more than IPL players?

Janhvi Kapoor stated that a few recently recruited cricketers from the Kolkata Knight Riders helped her play cricket for the film, and that she practiced for 6-7 hours every day.

Janhvi Kapoor was in Delhi to promote her latest film ‘Mr. & Mrs. Mahi’. During the press conference, she mentioned that IPL players from the Kolkata Knight Riders helped her train in the nets.

She claimed that a few recently recruited cricketers helped her play cricket for the film. Janhvi also stated that she practiced cricket for 6-7 hours each day. She revealed that her coach, Abhishek Nair, stated that the level of training Janhvi had to go through was not even comparable to that of IPL players.

She mentioned an examination she conducted before dating a man. She explained, “After my date, I go home and determine how compatible our zodiac signs are. There are many apps for doing so.”

However, she has indicated that if their compatibility does not match, she will not end the relationship. She claimed to be very superstitious. The 27-year-old actress is currently dating Shikhar Pahariya, a professional polo player and businessman.

Mr. and Mrs. Mahi’ is a romantic sports drama film directed by Sharan Sharma and produced by Zed Studios and Dharma Productions. Rajkummar Rao and Janhvi Kapoor co-star in the film, which will be released in theatres on May 31, 2024.

Mahendra, an unsuccessful cricketer, and Mahima, a doctor, are brought together through an arranged marriage. They share the same moniker, Mahi, and they become Mr and Mrs Mahi.

They rapidly discover a mutual fondness and enthusiasm for cricket. Mahendra eventually recognises his wife’s cricketing abilities and encourages her to follow her dream of becoming a cricketer, teaching her along the way.
