For Mirzapur fans, this is a moment to cheer because Munna Bhaiya aka, Ali Fazal is all set to unite with legendary director, Vishal Bhardwaj. Earlier too there were rumours about the duo coming together but nothing official came out. This time too, the news didn’t come from the director or the actor but an insider revealed the update. The source revealed, “Vishal is looking forward to directing again. For now, they are planning to kickstart the film by the year-end.”
The insider also gave insights into what fans can expect from the duo’s collaboration. It revealed, “Vishal will be directing an action-drama next, and has signed Ali Fazal for the same. This is the first time that Vishal and Ali will be working together, and they are really looking forward to it. Meanwhile, work on pre production and casting for other characters is underway,”
Vishal Bhardwaj is one director in Bollywood who is known to make realistic movies on contemporary issues. But he is unique because his movies clock good box office numbers along with having great content, for example, Omkara, Maqbool and Haider. Exceptional actors like Manoj Bajpayee, KK Menon and Nawazuddin Siddique have wished to work with Vishal one day. But this time Ali Fazal seems to be grabbing the opportunity.
Currently, Ali Fazal has multiple projects on his list including a Hollywood film with Wonder Woman aka Gal Gadot. Vishal’s last film to be released was Pataakha in 2018 which starred Sunil Grover, Radhika Madan and Sanya Malhotra.
