Actor Faraaz Khan has passed away at the age of 50 due to a neurological disorder. Actor-producer Pooja Bhatt announced this news on Twitter on Wednesday (4th November).

Reportedly, Faraaz was undergoing treatment at a Bengaluru hospital for a neurological disorder. He was admitted to the ICU. Pooja took to Twitter to share the news of Faraaz’s demise. She tweeted, “With a heavy heart, I break the news that #FaraazKhan has left us for what I believe, is a better place. Gratitude to all for your help & good wishes when he needed it most. Please keep his family in your thoughts & prayers. The void he has left behind will be impossible to fill.”

The actor’s brother Fahmaan Khan had shared details about Faraaz’s health a few weeks ago. He had requested financial help for the actor’s medical treatment. Responding to Fahmaan’s appeal, Salman Khan had come forward to help him with the expense.

Faraaz Khan had acted in films like Mehndi, Fareb, Dulhan Banoo Main Teri, among others. He was a popular actor in Bollywood in the late 1990s and early 2000s.
