In a heartwarming gesture, senior actor Manisha Koirala sent a lavish wedding gift to her Heeramandi: The Diamond Bazaar co-star Sonakshi Sinha as she got married to her longtime beau Zaheer Iqbal.
The couple got married on June 23, but before their wedding ceremony could even began, a large gift wrapped in a golden gift was delivered to the actress’ bungalow, where they had conducted pooja ceremony. The gift was also accompanied by a huge flower bouquet.
Manisha and Sonakshi shared screen space for Sanjay Leela Bhansali’s recently release web series, Heeramandi, wherein they played they have portrayed rival characters and were often seen in intense on-screen rivalry.
For the unversed, Sonakshi and Zaheer have been dating for the past seven years and have also worked together in the movie Double XL. For the past one year, the couple has been in a live-in relationship.
They had a legal marriage in presence of their close friends and family. Post the ceremony, they hosted a star studded reception for their industry friends, which was attended by Anil Kapoor, Salman Khan, Kajol, Raveena Tandon, and so on.
