Ace fashion designer Manish Malhotra, from the past 30 years of his profession has stood as the person behind the glamorous and luxurious costumes decorating celebrities. Manish is now beginning with a new voyage of his life by making the new commitment of donning the director’s hat.
Manish Malhotra is all set to make his directorial debut with his best friend Karma Johar’s production house ‘Dharma Productions’. The tale of his forthcoming movie appears to be a musical love story, set in the backdrop of the partition. On Friday, taking to Instagram, actress Janhvi Kapoor posted a congratulatory note for the ace fashion devotee and also memorized her late mother and Bollywood iconic actress Sridevi. She captioned the story with, “Congratulations Manish Malhotra on this new journey. Can’t wait for the world to see all the knowledge and love you have for films and see the magic that you create with them. It’s going to be so special.”

A report in Hindustan Times said that Malhotra’s romantic saga will come with a splash of grandeur and elegance. The report read, “The story and screenplay of this intense musical love story, set in the backdrop of the partition, is also written by Malhotra. He has already envisioned the entire screenplay ready in his mind and casting for the film will begin shortly.”
