Mandira Bedi’s husband, filmmaker Raj Kaushal passes due to a heart attack today morning. Friends and fans offer condolences.

Actress Mandira Bedi’s husband, filmmaker Raj Kaushal passes away today morning after suffering a heart attack.

While the family is yet to confirm the news, filmmaker Onir tweeted, “Gone too soon. We lost Film maker and Producer @rajkaushal1 this morning. Very Sad. He was one of the producers of my first film #MyBrotherNikhil. One of those few who believed in our vision and supported us. Prayers for his soul.”


Reportedly, the incident seemed to have taken place in the wee hours of the morning. Mandira and Raj’s close friend and actor Ashish Chaudhary was snapped at their residence on Wednesday morning. The couple had a strong friends circle which included Ashish Chaudhary and wife Samita Bangargi.

Raj Kaushal was a Bollywood producer. He started his career as an actor. He later directed three films: Pyaar Mein Kabhi Kabhi, Shaadi Ka Laddoo and Anthony Kaun Hai. He worked as a producer for films My Brother Nikhil, Shaadi Ka Laddoo and Pyaar Mein Kabhi Kabhi. Kaushal and Mandira Bedi tied the knot in February 1999.

Mandira and Raj have kept in low-key when it comes to their family life. In October 2020, they announced the adoption of their 4-year old daughter, who is a special addition to their small family. The couple is already blessed with a nine-year-old son, Vir Kaushal.
