Several Bollywood celebrities like Karisma Kapoor, Arbaaz Khan, and Kareena Kapoor attended the prayer meet for Malaika Arora’s father Anil Mehta on Friday evening. Several videos were shared on Instagram, one of which showed Malaika leaving her father’s home after attending the prayer meet.
At the end of the clip, Malaika emerged out of the apartment dressed in an off-white outfit, accompanied by fashion designer Vikram Phadnis and actor Aditi Govitrikar. She kept her face mask on as she rushed into her car.
In another video, sister Amrita Arora and her family members were seen moving out of the house of Malaika’s late father. She was wearing a white shirt and black denims as she emerged from the gate side of the house accompanied by her husband Shakeel Ladak and son.
Malaika’s father passed away on Wednesday. Arbaaz Khan, who is ex-husband of Malaika Arora, was among the first ones to visit her parents’ house. Other members from his family, including Arbaaz’s parents Salim Khan and Salma Khan, stepmother Helen, sisters Alvira and Arpita, and brothers Sohail Khan and Salman Khan, were seen making their way to the residence to pay condolences.
The mortal remains of the film personality’s father were cremated at the Santacruz Hindu Crematorium in Mumbai.
