Maheep Kapoor is getting ready for the premiere of “Fabulous Lives of Bollywood Wives” season 2. Maheep will be shown disclosing in one of the episodes that her husband, actor Sanjay Kapoor, had cheated on her during the course of their 25-year marriage.
She questioned whether it was tough to communicate such a sensitive matter with the family before going public with it in an interview with India Today. “There’s nothing that’s been difficult. It just happened. We were in the moment. You’re talking about things. We’ve pushed the envelope.” She said
She continued ” I am hoping that women will understand that everything is not hunky dory. Everyone has their ups and their downs in life. And, we go through it, we chug along and that’s what it is. It’s not scratched under the surface, you will see that we all have our issues. It was important to speak about it,” she told the news portal.”
Maheep also stated that prior to speaking about it on the show, she had not discussed the matter with Sanjay. In 1997, Maheep and Sanjay exchanged vows. Before getting hitched, they dated for a long time. Shanaya Kapoor and Jahaan Kapoor are the couple’s two children.
Netflix will begin streaming “Fabulous Lives of Bollywood Wives” on September 2, 2022. While Maheep, Seema Sajdeh, Bhavna Pandey, and Neelam Kothari’s star-studded lives were briefly glimpsed in the first season, the current season attempts to raise the bar.
