On Monday, Tim Cook thanked Madhuri Dixit for introducing him to the vada pav, a tasty snack famous in Mumbai. The Apple CEO tweeted that his first vada pav was “delicious” while in the area to open the first company-owned store in India.

Cook also paid a visit to the business’ BKC location in Mumbai before its opening on Tuesday. He tweeted about a picture he shared with store employees “Hello, Mumbai! We can’t wait to welcome our customers to the new Apple BKC tomorrow.”
The first Apple retail location will open on April 18 in Mumbai, while a second location will open on 20 April in Delhi. The store is being launched as the company marks 25 years in the country.
The Apple Saket store’s barricade was also unveiled by the iPhone manufacturer along with plans to open a second location in Delhi on April 20. The business claimed that its design was motivated by Delhi’s several gates, each of which denoted a fresh chapter in the city’s storied past.
