Four More Shots Please! is a story of four unapologetically flawed women (two in their 30s and two in their early 20s) who live, love, make mistakes, and support each other. The series is an Amazon Prime Video’s first all women Indian Original starring Sayani Gupta, Bani J, Kirti Kulhari and Maanvi Gagroo. The first season was released in the year 2019 and the second season was released in the year 2020. Maanvi Gagroo as Sidhi Patel “Sids” is happy to be a part of the series. She says it was a wonderful experience working with the team and director Vikramaditya Motwane.
International Emmy Awards nominations were announced on Thursday (1st October). Four More Shots Please! was nominated in the best comedy category.
Maanvi Gagroo looking forward to the win say, “We’re just waiting for the results. If we win it, I’ll be very happy especially because there were many — mostly men — who didn’t like the show and the reason was, ‘Arrey yeh kya hai, yeh toh fake feminism hai’ and all that nonsense. This win will shut those people who can’t appreciate something. I just want to win it for the trolls”. Maanvi also admits that being nominated for such coveted awards is in itself a big deal.
