Late actor Irrfan Khan’s wife Sutopa wants CBD oil to be legalised

Sutapa Sikdar, the wife of late actor Irrfan Khan shared a post on her Instagram. In which she shares the picture of the hospital that he was treated in.

Late actor Irrfan Khan‘s wife Sutapa Sikdar took to her Instagram account to share a picture of the hospital where he was treated in. She even recalled the memories during the late actor’s treatment. She wrote in her post,  “London revisit looking at his hospital room from outside like every time I did while he was there #walkingalone #wishyouwerethere #cancerpain #LegalizeCBDoilinIndia ”

CBD oil has been studied for it’s potential to ease pain for those with Cancer, anxiety, depression, acne and heart disease. However it also carries some risks or side effects like dry mouth, diarrhoea, reduced appetite, drowsiness and fatigue.

On March 2018, Irrfan Khan revealed via tweet that he has been diagnosed with neuroendocrine tumor. He was being treated in London, United Kingdom for a year. After which he came back to India in February 2019. He started receiving treatment for colon infection on 28th April 2020 in Kokilaben Dhirubhai Ambani Hospital. However, he passed away on 29th April 2020  after battling cancer for almost two years.

On the other hand, Shraddha Kapoor has been accused of asking for CBD oil from KWAN manager and was recently questioned on the same by NCB.
