Kriti Sanon to star opposite Kartik Aaryan once again in Ala Vaikunthapurramuloo’s remake?

Kriti Sanon is in talks for joining the remake of the hit Telugu movie Ala Vaikunthapurramuloo opposite Kartik Aaryan, who was reportedly brought on-board earlier.

Kriti Sanon is currently in Arunachal Pradesh, shooting for the monster comedy, Bhediya, alongside Varun Dhawan. The month-long schedule ends by early April and then she moves onto Adipurush, wherein she essays the character of Sita. All through the summer, she will be canning her portions for this epic alongside Prabhas and Saif Ali Khan.

As Pinkvilla’s report suggests, Kriti Sanon is in talks to star opposite Kartik in the Ala Vaikunthapurramuloo’s Hindi remake. Moreover, Varun Dhawan’s brother Rohit Dhawan will be directing the project. The original movie has Allu Arjun and Pooja Hegde in lead roles.

Reportedly, the makers want to take the project to the floors by June but Sanon is slated to shoot for the Tiger Shroff-starrer Ganpath around the same time.

According to the source close to the development revealed, “The Kriti-Kartik pairing won acclaim from all quarters and that’s the reason why the makers are keen to have them back together in this Rohit Dhawan directed film. Though the actress too is keen to come on board the film, she is currently working on her date diary as team Ala Vaikunthapurramuloo is keen to take their adaptation on floors from June.”
