Kriti Sanon will complete ten years in 2024, having made her debut in the 2014 film Heropanti, opposite Tiger Shroff. From captivating her way into viewers’ hearts to winning National awards for Best Actress for her amazing performance in Mimi, the 33-year-old actor has had an eventful career.
The actress was honoured at the Vigyan Bhavan in New Delhi on Tuesday in the presence of Shri. Dropuadi Murmu, Honourable President of India, and Anurag Thakur, Minister of Information and Broadcasting.
Kriti received the prize alongside Alia Bhatt, who was also named Best Actress for her performance as Gangubai in Gangubai Kathiawadi.
An overjoyed Kriti took to Instagram to share her treasured moment of glory, while posing for photos with her parents, Geeta and Rahul Sanon. Nupur Sanon, sister and Tiger Nageswara Rao actress was notably absent from the event.
The caption of her post can clearly give away that what’s happening for Kriti seems very unreal and dreamy for her to fathom. She writes, “The feeling is not easy to describe in words.. On the work front, Kriti is preparing for the release of her next film, Ganapath: A Hero is Born, in which she will co-star with Amitabh Bachchan and Tiger Shroff, she is also filming for The Crew with Tabu and Kareena Kapoor Khan. She also has Do Patti, in which she co-stars with Kajol, and Meena Kumari’s biography, which will be produced by renowned fashion designer Manish Malhotra.
