Actors Konkona Sen Sharma and Ranvir Shorey who have starred together in films like Traffic Signal and Aaja Nachle had tied the knot in 2010. After facing several ups and downs the couple finally decided to end their marriage in 2015. And, as per the reports by ETimes the couple have now been officially divorced.
The two actors tied the knot in a private ceremony with only their family and close friends. Ranvir and Konkona have a son named Haroon. The news was confirmed by Amruta Sathe Pathak who is Konkona’s lawyer. She informed that the marriage ended on a good note as the legal separation has been put forth by mutual consent. As per the reports, the couple’s marriage had a downfall in 2013, and after trying their best to save it, they finally called it a quit in 2015 and filed for legal separation.
Konkona and Ranvir even went for detailed counselling but couldn’t give their marriage another chance and hence, decided to part ways. A source told ETimes, “They came and left separately but nevertheless, this is one of the most peaceful divorces that one has seen in a long time. There is absolutely no animosity between the two. Sad of course that they couldn’t reconcile as a couple but who can control destiny?”
Actors Ranvir Shorey and Konkona Sen Sharma have also starred together in films like, Gour Hari Dastaan- The Freedom File and Mixed Doubles.
Talking about the work front, Ranvir recently was seen in Irrfan Khan and Radhika Madan’s Angrezi Medium and Kunal Kemmu’s Lootcase. While Konkona is gearing up for her film, Dolly Kitty Aur Woh Chamakte Sitare also starring Bhumi Pednekar. The film is expected to release on Netflix.
