Khushi Kapoor, daughter of late veteran actress Sridevi Kapoor and Producer Boney Kapoor, is making her debut soon. She is foraying into acting following the footsteps of her mother and sister Janhvi Kapoor. Boney confirmed that Khushi is passionate about acting. He added that we would hear an announcement regarding this soon.

However, Boney also added that he is not planning to launch Khushi like his brother Sanjay Kapoor. He also says that one tends to get indulgent over matters like this.
In an interview with Bombay Times, he discussed his decision on her launch by someone else. He comments, “I have the resources, but I would rather have someone else launch her because I am her father and one tends to get indulgent. You cannot afford to do that as a filmmaker and nor is it good for the actor.”

He hinted at Khushi’s launch by a noted filmmaker and said, “I would want Khushi to find her footing. She will be launched by someone I respect and someone I feel secure and safe about.”
A few decades ago, Boney had launched his brother Sanjay Kapoor. He was cast opposite then debutante Tabu, with the 1995 film ‘Prem’ Directed by Satish Kaushik and written by Javed Akhtar, the movie became delayed for several years. But eventually, it hit the screens and turned out to be a dud.

Speaking from experience, he says, “Anil (Kapoor) was still an established actor, and hence it didn’t affect him much. But I think I became an indulgent brother with Sanjay (Kapoor) when he made his entry into films.”

Khushi enrolled in a film program at the New York Film Academy in the United States. She is quite a hit on Instagram with a massive following posting stunning pictures of herself.
She appeared on BFF’s with Vogue Season 3. Host Neha Dhupia asked her about her dream debut. Khushi replied that she would blindly follow director Karan Johar. But the decision regarding her co-star is up to her father.
