The Bollywood star Kareena Kapoor Khan is having a great year! She is working on some extremely intriguing projects. The actress is prepared to make her OTT debut with the Sujoy Ghosh-directed Indian remake of The Devotion of Suspect X. She also completed filming in the UK for the Hansal Mehta-directed film provisionally titled The Buckingham Murders. Kareena portrays a detective and mother in the suspenseful film who is looking into a murder in Buckinghamshire. The actress admitted that Kate Winslet’s performance in Mare of Easttown served as the model for her character in a recent interview with Variety. Along with Tabu and Kriti Sanon, she also provided an update on The Crew, her upcoming film directed by Rajesh Krishnan. In addition, she disclosed how she and Saif Ali Khan achieve work-life balance.
Taimur Ali Khan and Jeh Ali Khan are children of Kareena Kapoor Khan and Saif Ali Khan. Kareena talked candidly to Variety about juggling her personal and professional lives. “It’s literally like standing on one leg, but I’m pretty good at yoga. I’m also very lucky to have a husband who works in the same profession. We take turns as to when we have to travel,” she said.
She added that her fantastic crew backs them up. Saif reportedly stayed at home with his children Taimur and Jeh while Kareena was in London filming Hansal Mehta’s movie, according to Kareena. She said that while she will remain at home until March, Saif is currently filming a movie in Amritsar.
Saif will return to Mumbai after his filming in Amritsar is complete, Kareena continued. Kareena will then start contributing to The Crew. “And then, after he’s finished, he goes home, and I enter ‘The Crew. It takes a lot of careful planning, but if you’re organised, I believe you can succeed,” remarked Kapoor Khan. She continued by saying that in the five or six years she has been a parent, she has come to the realisation that what matters is not the quantity of time spent with children, but rather the quality of time spent with them without interruption. According to Variety, The Crew, starring Kareena, Tabu, and Kriti, will start filming in March.
According to Kareena, “The Crew” is the movie that will be glamorous and glossy. Additionally, it is a comedy chick flick heist movie. Compared to “Devotion” and Hansal’s film, that will be the Hindi masala commercial film. Ekta Kapoor and Rhea Kapoor will produce The Crew. “The Crew” will examine the humorous trysts of three working women in the airline business with some unforeseen circumstances, and how they overcome this with their enthusiasm for life, Ekta Kapoor said in a Pinkvilla interview.
