Divya Khossla Kumar isn’t stepping down in her conflict with Karan Johar and Alia Bhatt. On Saturday, she wrote a note on Instagram, accusing Alia of ‘fooling’ people with ‘fake’ box office collection.
She took to Instagram and wrote, “Went to Citi Mall PVR for Jigra show. Theatre was totally empty … all theaters going empty every where. #Aliabhatt me sach mein Bahut #Jigra hai.. khud hi tickets karide aur fake collections announce kar diye. Wonder why paid media is silent. #weshdnotfooltheaudience #truthoverlies #HappyDussehra.”
Karan has now penned a cryptic note on his Instagram stories which read, “Silence is the best speech you will ever give to fools.” Though he didn’t name anyone, however, this came just after Divya slammed Alia.
A few days ago, Divya posted the response on the subject of the resemblance in her movie Savi and Jigra. She stated, though she can see it, she stated that every film has its own process and she’s grateful for the opportunity to experiment in the genre. Savi is an Indian film with aspects of Indian myth that comes close to the plot of the film; it is a story of a housewife who takes it on herself and tries to help her husband escape from a successful prison in England; In Jigra, Alia’s character also makes a plot to free her brother from jail by planning a jail break.
