
Kangana Ranaut’s team on Twitter expressed their views over the forcible quarantine of a senior IPS officer Vinay Tiwari from the Bihar Police, who had arrived in Mumbai for Sushant Singh Rajput’s death case. The team alleged that there is a ‘gunda raj’ going on in Mumbai.
IPS officer Vinay Tiwari was deployed by the Bihar Police to lead and monitor Sushant’s death case after reports of ‘non-cooperation’ by the Mumbai Police was received by the DGP Gupteshwar Pandey. On Sunday, Vinay Tiwari was forced to quarantine himself and practice isolation by the BMC officials.

Officer Vinay Tiwari came to Mumbai four days ago after a small team of the Bihar Police came to the city when Sushant’s father KK Singh filed a complaint against actress Rhea Chakraborty. The four-member team of Bihar Police were not asked or forced to be home quarantined at that time.

After hearing the news of Vinay Tiwari’s forcible home quarantining, the DGP of Bihar Police took to his Facebook handle and wrote, “IPS officer Vinay Tiwari reached Mumbai today from Patna on official duty to lead the police team there but he has been forcibly quarantined by BMC officials at 11 pm today. He was not provided accommodation in the IPS Mess despite request and was staying in a guest house in Goregaon.”
Vinay Tiwari, after reaching Mumbai on Sunday, assured the people that they are going in the right direction in regards to Sushant’s case and said, “Our team is conducting a probe here for the past one week. The next step is supervision, for which a senior officer is needed. So I have been sent here. We are here to get all the important evidence and facts. We are taking statements of the concerned people. We are investigating every angle in the case.”
