The recent war of words between actress Kangana Ranaut and Shiv Sena MP Sanjay Raut has further escalated. Sanjay Raut earlier asked the actress to apologize to Maharashtra over her POK comment. Reportedly, Raut also abused the actress by calling her “haraamkhor”.

Replying to this minutes ago, Kangana shared a video saying she has complete freedom of expression.

The actress in the video raised a voice against the offensive word Raut used for her. She condemned his speech by saying that a lot of girls go through rape, sexual harassment and assaults only because of the very mentality that he displayed when he abused her.

Kangana said that MP Raut is not Maharashtra, the state does not belong to him. In many of her previous interviews, she has praised the Mumbai police. However, according to Kangana, when the Mumbai police didn’t record her statement when they did nothing to bring justice to the Palghar Sadhus who got lynched, that’s when she was compelled to raise her voice.

Further, towards the end of the video, the actress said that though she has been given direct threats, she will be still coming back to Mumbai on September 9.

While sharing this video, in the caption Kangana wrote- “Sanjay ji mujhe abhivyakti ki poori azaadi hai, mujhe apne desh mein kahin bhi jaane ki azadi hai. Main azad hu.” (Mr Sanjay, I have the freedom of expression., I have the freedom to go anywhere in my country. I am free.)
