Yesterday, American Pop-singer Rihanna showed her support through twitter for the ongoing farmer protest. Pop-singer quotes CNN’s article on her twitter page and wrote, “why aren’t we talking about this?! #FarmersProtest.”

Kangana Ranaut retweeted Rihanna’s recent tweet saying, “No one is talking about it because they are not farmers, they are terrorists who are trying to divide India, so that China can take over our vulnerable broken nation and make it a Chinese colony much like USA… Sit down you fool, we are not selling our nation like you dummies.”

Later that day activist Greta Thunberg too tagged the same CNN article. She stated, “We stand in solidarity with the #FarmersProtest in India.”
Furthermore, the farmers are demanding for the scrap of all three laws. Whereas, the central government is ready to just make changes in the law. This protest started last year in December. It’s been more than 2 months, but the farmers Union and Government are yet to come on a mutual page.
All through the Supreme court has intervened by asking the central govt to stop the implementation for now. It has ordered a review committee, which will study the entire law.
Latest, Lok Sabha Speaker Om Birla has given signs of 12 hours discussion in the house, before the 6th of February.
