In her latest online series The Trial, Bollywood star Kajol plays a lawyer. The 48-year-old actress abandoned her ‘no-kissing’ rules for the performance. In two different episodes of the programme, Kajol kissed her co-stars Alyy Khan (lover) and Jisshu Sengupta (spouse).
The Trial premiered on an OTT platform on July 14, and both critics and audiences praised Kajol’s performance. Social media networks have also revealed the actress’ intense lip-lock and intimate encounters.
Kajol has surprised her fans with her first onscreen kiss in her 31-year-long career.

Soon after the footage went viral, countless fans expressed their surprise and admiration for Kajol’s daring gesture.
“I can’t believe Kajol kissed, not once, but twice in #TheTrial like yesssss girl I’m so proud of you,” one user said.

Suparn S Verma wrote and starred in the play, which follows Noyonika, who resumes her law career after her husband Rajeev Sen Gupta is arrested in a sleaze and corruption case.
When the spouse (played by Jisshu) is unable to get a lawyer to represent his case, Noyonika is forced to step in. The show finally follows the shifting balance of morals and ethics.
The Trial is a remake of the award-winning American television series The Good Wife. Sheeba Chaddha, Kubbra Sait, Aamir Ali, and Gaurav Pandey also play key roles in the show.
