Aamir Khan’s son Junaid Khan has been garnering praises for his debut movie Maharaj. The star kid opened up to receiving positive feedback for his historical drama film in an interaction with ANI.
“I cannot explain in words what I’m feeling right now. Maharaj has been a long and wild journey for me, but all’s well that ends well I guess,” said Junaid. He added that the film was made with lots of ‘love and respect’ and is glad that his performance is striking a chord with the audience.
Speaking about his future in cinema, the actor said that he hopes to get a supportive cast and crew as he has a long way to go ahead.
For the unversed, Gujarat High Court had stay the release of Maharaj, over accusations that the movie is hurting Hindu sentiments. However, on Friday, the court lifted the interim stay, allowing it to release on Netflix, observing that there is nothing derogatory in the movie.
