With the ongoing debate over nepotism, there are very few stars in the industry, who admit that they got a certain opportunities owning to the legacy of the parents. When it comes to Junaid Khan, Aamir Khan’s son often surprises us with his honest confessions.
Recently, at NDTV event, the actor spoke about his auditioning journey and admitted that if he had not been Aamir’s son, his debut OTT project that marked his entry into the film world would have slipped off his hand.
“I will also admit ki if I was not Aamir Khan’s son, I would probably not have gotten Maharaj,” noted Junaid, hence gaining the trust of audience with his brutal honesty.
The star kid talked about Maharaj while talking about how he auditioned for several projects, but nothing came to the execution stage. He also auditioned for Laal Singh Chadha, and was praised by his father, but owing to the risk of doing a high budget film with a new face, it did not happen.
Meanwhile, on the work front, Junaid is currently working on a romantic film with Khushi Kapoor. The movie is yet to be titled.
