American actress and singer Jennifer Lopez made a stylish entrance in New York City while wearing leopard print from head to toe. She matched bedazzled leggings, sparkly shoes, and even a tiny pocketbook with animal prints with a feathery Valentino minidress. To further increase the glam factor, the “Hustlers” actress donned a pair of huge sunglasses.
Lopez was in town for the Met Gala on Monday and made an appearance on the Today show on Wednesday to promote her forthcoming Netflix movie, “The Mother,” which will be released on May 12. On the Rockefeller Centre set earlier that morning, the founder of JLo Beauty looked ladylike in a sheer turquoise Del Core top and a matching leather pencil skirt.
Lopez is hardly the only celebrity to don one of Valentino’s all-leopard ensembles. Anne Hathaway wore the same outrageous leggings and shoes at the Valentino Haute Couture show in Paris in January, but she wore a strapless minidress with the same print instead.
Cats were the rage on the Met Gala red carpet earlier this week. Jared Leto channeled the late Karl Lagerfeld’s cat, Choupette, while Doja Cat went full furry for their debuts at the stylish event.
The “Jenny From the Block” singer dazzled at the gala by donning a dramatic fascinator and an ab-baring Ralph Lauren gown with a provocative crisscrossed front. Lopez skipped the ball with her husband Ben Affleck and walked the red carpet alone. Later, Lynda Lopez, J. Lo’s sister, joined her at the Met Gala after-party hosted by Stella McCartney and Baz Luhrmann.
