Star Plus’s longest-running show Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai has been viewed by the masses on a large scale. With several plot changes and tragic story twists, this particular soap opera has survived beyond its expectancy and gathered several milestones. The show started with main leads Heena Khan and Karan Mehta, who had ruled over people’s hearts for almost decades and now it features Harshad Chopra and Pranali Rathod as protagonists.
A few months, the show’s plot had occurred severe changes and it transpired Jay Soni’s entry into the serial. His character has been liked by the audience and he also serves as another main lead for the show. Recently, it was been rumored that the actor is going to quit the serial and his track as Abhinav will end soon. But in the latest conversation with Tellychakkar, Jay has responded to the speculations regarding him leaving the show.
He said, “To be honest, I am not aware of any of this, I have not been given intimation as well, so I don’t know where the reports are coming from. The track is very much on and I am continuously shooting for the show as well,” as quoted by Pinkvilla.
Thus, it is a piece of good news for all the fans, as Jay will still continue to be a part of the show. Currently on Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai, Akshara (Pranali Rathod) and Abhinav’s (Jay Soni) son Abhir is ill and he gets to know that Abhinav is not his biological father. Although, it is yet to be seen how he will react to knowing the truth or he will try to find his real father.
