Family is the primary spot where one’s work gets seen and critiued simultaneously. Discussing this, in a recent talk, Janhvi Kapoor reveals that this Kapoor family member, is greatest and ‘ruthless’ critic of her work.
The Dhadak star has recently had a film, Roohi, released in theaters and after finishing the shoot of another film, Good Luck Jerry, and now, she is set to help her sister Khushi Kapoor in seeking her dream of acting in US. In the midst of this, Janhvi opened up about film reviews and her critics.
In a recent talk with Times of India, Janhvi talked about how Khushi is very close to her and is brutally honest regarding her opinion about her work. However, Khushi is not the most critical one but it is her sister Anshula Kapoor. Janhvi respect her criticism and she reads her movie reviews and take constructive criticism from them. She said that she has reached a stage where she can filter out the ‘cruel’ one from those that are honest.
Janhvi said, “Khushi is very honest about what I do in my films and how I do it. She never falsely praises me. But a special mention here of Anshula didi; she is brutally candid.”
Further talking about the film reviews, she said, “I read them and take the criticism constructively. That matters to me more than the compliments.”
