Karan Johar greeted Janhvi and Khushi Kapoor, the sister combo, on the Koffee sofa. In the most recent Koffee With Karan episode, they revealed more about their own lives. Interestingly, the Bawaal diva also revealed a few things regarding her alleged partner, Shikhar Pahariya.
On the 11th episode of Koffee With Karan, Janhvi Kapoor was quizzed by host and filmmaker Karan Johar on her alleged relationship with Shikhar Pahariya. “You have had an interesting path of love; you were dating Shikhar, and then you dated someone else, and now you are dating Shikhar again. True or False?” he asked her. The Bawaal actress answered him by saying, “We’ve heard the song ‘Nadaan parinde ghar aaja’, Shikha used to sing that to me a lot and I liked it.”
She went on to say that Shikhar had always supported Khushi, her, and their father, Boney Kapoor. She stated, “I will say this, he is, not just for me, but for her, for Dad, and for everyone in our family. He has been there from the start as a friend. Not in a way that made me feel like he is expecting anything, or he is a pushover, or any of those things. He was just there in a very selfless, dignified way and in a way that I have not seen many men capable of being there for another human being.” She also added, “Shikhar and I are just good friends.”
Then, KJo talked about their father, producer Boney Kapoor. The girls said that he’s really cool right now when he asked them how he was getting along with them. The host made a lighthearted question about whether he hangs out with their partners, to which the Mili actress said, “Who’s boyfriends? He’s hanging out with our friends. Now, I feel that he’s from a generation that’s not born yet because I’m not prepared with how woke he is.”
Eventually, in a brief but fascinating section, Karan Johar requested that she select three persons on her speed dial list. Janhvi enthusiastically replied, “Papa, Khushu, and Shikhuuu!” She added, “Just because we are really good friends.”
When Janhvi Kapoor and polo player Shikhar Pahariya were sighted together at the Tirumala shrine during Onam celebrations last year, rumours were that Janhvi was dating Pahariya. The couple was reportedly spending their New Year’s break with Boney and Khushi Kapoor.
