Janhvi Kapoor, a Bollywood actress, denied a story about her wedding plans. A paparazzi wrote on Instagram that the actor wishes to marry in the Tirupati Temple wearing a golden saree, to which Janhvi reacted concisely in the comments section. The ‘Dhadak’ actor has been dating Shikhar Pahariya, a businessman, for quite some time.
In an Instagram post, “Want to get married in Tirupati wearing a gold saree.” Janhvi responded with a simple “Kuch bhi (Anything).” Her response amused social media users. Some have even speculated that Janhvi was not aware of her own wedding plans until paparazzi arrived.
A user commented, “@janhvikapoor aapko pata bhi nhi (You don’t even know),” and included a laughing emoji. A another person replied, “@janhvikapoor jabardasti karwayenge ye log (They will force you to get married).” Many Instagram users left laughing emojis in the comments section.
The paparazzi shared Janhvi’s comment, which she said during a 2021 interview with Brides Today.
When asked how she views the day she will marry, the star replied, “I’ve had a pretty clear idea of it from the beginning! I want to marry in Tirupati, and it will be a very modest ceremony. I know what I’ll be wearing: a gold zari Kanjeevaram saree with loads of mogras in my hair. My hubby is going to be wearing a lungi. And after the wedding, we’ll all enjoy dinner on banana leaves.”
Meanwhile, Janhvi is no longer hiding her relationship with Shikhar. She typically wears a necklace with his name on it. They are even seen together at lunch and supper outings.
