Surbhi Chandna who rose to fame with star studded family-romantic drama Ishqbaaaz, is one happy soul. She is bold, courageous and vibrant and fans really adore her for the simplicity she carries along with elegance. Due to coronavirus, the shoots were halted and for three months celebrities enjoyed time in isolation. So, now when it’s time to step out of the home, everything seems alien to everyone and there is an unstated fear that has taken over the mind.
In an interaction with Pinkvilla, Surbhi shared her experience of the first day of shoot after three months of lockdown. She provided insight on what went in her mind during the shoot and how she ensured safety because she is exposed to the deadly virus as the work takes it’s pace back. She said, “ Of course, when one is working, various thoughts do creep in and it is even worse when the shoot is over. All I have been doing is recalling the moments of the day, that’s how the scare has set in. But also, one can’t stop living because I see no antidote anytime soon, however, I made sure I kept having the concoction made by my parents cause I was the only one without the mask since I can’t do a print shoot with a mask on. So, that was for my safety and the safety of others. But every time I got into another change, I would sanitize my hands. Also, I avoided eating on the sets and once I was home I had to shower head to toe and lots of other things.”
In the same interview with Pinkvilla, she also expressed how it is going to be difficult to shoot while donning a mask. So, according to her the least the actors can do is take care of their immunity system. Keeping it strong is the ultimate solution as believed by the Ishqbaaaz actor. And at the end she also expressed fear by saying that God knows how things will be!
Well, it is true that the fear of being exposed to the virus will remain a major problem, but slowly and steadily, we might conquer our fear. But the good news is that we will be able to enjoy our favourite shows pretty soon!
