Today, April 29th marks one year of actor Irrfan Khan’s demise. Actress Divya Dutta had worked with him in the 2005 movie ‘Dubai Return’ as well as the ‘Blackmail’ in 2018. In an exclusive interview with ETimes, she opened up about her experience of working with Irrfan.
She remembers Irrfan as being a shy man who was an absolute delight to work with since their first film together. The actress still finds it hard to believe he is no more. “Irrfan Khan was magic,” she recalls.
“Irrfan was all about spontaneity and sheer sensitivity. Irrfan was undoubtedly one of God’s most gifted actors,” she adds.
Divya Dutta said she finds it difficult to pinpoint one movie of his that is her favourite. “There is no one film that I can name. There are too many that showed his brilliance on screen. Be it, ‘Piku’ or ‘Paan Singh Tomar’, and the last scene in ‘Talvar’, I could not get enough of him,” she says.
