Hrithik Roshan has suffered a leg injury during rehearsals for a major dance sequence in War 2, delaying the shoot until May 2025. Despite the setback, the YRF Spy Universe film remains on track for its August release, promising an action-packed spectacle featuring Jr NTR and Kiara Advani.

The much-anticipated War 2 has hit a minor setback as lead actor Hrithik Roshan sustained a leg injury during dance rehearsals. The injury has forced a delay in the filming of a high-energy dance sequence featuring Roshan and Jr NTR, now rescheduled for May 2025. Despite the setback, the film remains on track for its theatrical release on August 14, 2025.

The YRF Spy Universe has been expanding rapidly, with War 2 being one of its most awaited instalments. Directed by Ayan Mukerji, the film stars Hrithik Roshan, Jr NTR, and Kiara Advani, promising an action-packed spectacle. Reports suggest that the movie includes a grand dance-off between Hrithik and Jr NTR, a moment fans have been eager to witness. Given both actors’ impressive dance skills—especially Jr NTR, who gained international recognition for Naatu Naatu from RRR—expectations for the sequence are sky-high.

According to sources, Roshan sustained the injury while pushing himself during rehearsals. Medical experts have advised him to rest, preventing any further strain before shooting the demanding routine. Fortunately, the delay in filming will not affect the movie’s post-production or promotional plans, as most of the principal photography has already been completed.

Despite this minor hurdle, War 2 continues to build excitement as a key entry in the YRF Spy Universe, following the success of War, Pathaan, and the Tiger trilogy. With a global release slated for August, fans can still expect an intense showdown when Hrithik Roshan and Jr NTR finally take the screen together.
