Gulshan Devaiah reacts to Bollywood’s ignoring Sushant Singh Rajput, asserts, ‘Bollywood is not a family’

The sudden demise of Bollywood actor Actor Sushant Singh Rajput, 34 committed suicide on Sunday. Sushant took his life at his Carter Road apartment by hanging himself to the ceiling. He was found dead at around 12:30 in the afternoon.

Sushant Singh Rajput has not only left people in shock but have ignited a debate on social media as well. Recently replying to Actor Meera Chopra’s post for Sushant, Actor Gulshan Devaiah said that Bollywood is not a family. He tweeted, “Really sorry to be doing this but Bollywood is not a family , it never was and never will be . If one thinks it’s a family .. there is the problem. Bollywood is an imaginary name for a place of work that’s it . I am really not trying to put anybody down here & sorry if it seems.”

In the original post actor Meera Chopra apologised to Sushant on behalf of Industry and mentioned that Bollywood is family. Attaching a heart felt note, she tweeted, “My apology to ‪#sushant‬ on behalf of the entire industry and a humble request to my industry folks!!”

Yesterday, KJo took to Insta and shared a picture with late actor and blamed himself for not keeping in touch with him. His caption read, “I blame myself for not being in touch with you for the past year….. I have felt at times like you may have needed people to share your life with…but somehow I never followed up on that feeling…will never make that mistake again…we live in very energetic and noisy but still very isolated times …some of us succumb to these silences and go within…we need to not just make relationships but also constantly nurture them….Sushants unfortunate demise has been a huge wake up call to me …to my level of compassion and to my ability to foster and protect my equations…..I hope this resonates with all of you as well….will miss your infectious smile and your bear hug .” KJo mourned the loss of SSR.
