1. Rajesh Khanna

One of the biggest stars of Bollywood, known for his versatile acting and aura, Rajesh Khanna was a living legend. After working in 163 films, he switched to politics and joined the Indian National Congress in 1991. He contested the Lok Sabha elections in the same year and was defeated by Lal Krishna Advani. In 1992, he defeated Shatrughan Sinha and became a member of parliament.

2. Dharmendra

Dharmendra, yet another exceptional star of Bollywood turned to politics after his successful tenure in movies. He joined BJP and contested the Lok Sabha elections in 2004. He represents the Bikaner constituency from Rajasthan.

3. Raj Babbar

Raj Babbar joined politics as early as 1989 and joined the Janata Dal. He was a member of the party for many years and had a decent time in politics. However, the actor lost the 2014 Lok Sabha elections to VK Singh and it was a devastating tragedy. Now, he is the President of the Uttar Pradesh Congress Committee.

She joined the BJP and was appointed as the general secretary of the party. 2014, turned out to be a fortunate year, as she won the Lok Sabha elections against Jayant Chaudhary.
