
Film producer Firoz A. Nadiadwala‘s wife, Shabana Saeed was arrested by the Narcotics Control Bureau (NCB) on Sunday (8th November) for a drug case.
Reportedly, NCB had carried out a raid at Nadiadwala’s house on Sunday morning, wherein they recovered 10 gm of ganja (cannabis). NCB then took Shabana to their office for interrogation, where she recorded her official statement. She was arrested later in the day for the same.
As per a report by Dailyhunt, cannabis was procured from Wahid Abdul Kadir Sheikh aka Sultan, a drug peddler who was arrested by the NCB on 6th November. The raid at Nadiadwala’s residence was carried out post learning about the producer during interrogation with the suspects by the NCB.
Nadiadwala has produced films like Awara Pagal Deewana, Phir Hera Pheri, Welcome, among others.
