Varinder Chawla, a seasoned paparazzo and celebrity photographer, has shared his concerns about growing paparazzi culture in India, which according to him is infringing on celebrities’ privacy.
During his recent interview with Ishan for his YouTube channel, the paparazzo opened up about the paparazzi obsession with Taimur Ali Khan, son of Kareena Kapoor Khan and Saif Ali Khan. “There was a time when if we didn’t post pictures of Taimur, our posts would get comments like, ‘Aaj Taimur ka photo nahin aaya’,” he said. Varinder also added that they would also receive queries in their DMs.
Varinder praised Kareena for being cooperative with Taimur and since the audience was demanding it, the paps would following the star kid all day. “We would follow him when we would be plying. Bachhe ki personal life humlogon ne disturb karna shuru kar di thi. Tab unhone request kiya that ki kuch jagahon par aap mat ayiye, jaise school,” he added.
The paparazzo recalled one incident when he realised that they have went too far as he noticed around 40-50 people following Taimur on the way to his tuition.
