Exclusive: Swwapnil Joshi talks about playing Shri Krishna in Ramanand Sagar’s epic show, ‘The character changed my life!’

From playing the role of little Kush in Ramayana, to his upcoming sequel of series called ‘Samantar’, Swwapnil Joshi speaks about his long journey.

Actor Swwapnil Joshi has been a heart-throb of Marathi Cinema industry since a very long time. Not just that, he was seen as little Kush in Ramayana as well as Shri Krishna in Ramanand Sagar‘s Krishna. From working as a part of films and shows across genres like Mythology, Romance, Crime and Comedy, actor is also looking forward to his next Marathi Horror film called ‘Bali’. Recently Swwapnil opened up about his divergent roles and characters to Business Upturn, which he has played in his so many years of the career.

When asked about the secret to his energy and the efforts he puts in all the roles he acts for he says, “I think for me, failure is my key. I like to try different things every time and sometimes you succeed and the other times you learn. The ability of rising up after such failures has kept me working consistently in the industry for like 30 years.” Mitwa star also talked about plethora of characters he pulled off on-screen. “Every character gives you something and a little bit takes it too from you, its difficult to say which one is favorite. But playing the iconic role of Krishna made me reach every household of the country and beyond. Lord Krishna is bound by no limitations, the character definitely changed my life.”

On the side note, Swwapnil is expected to be seen in his film ‘Bali’ which is ready to be released as well as the second season of the thriller-suspense web-series called ‘Samantar on an OTT platform.’ The initial season of the same was hugely lauded by wide array of audience as the series is dubbed across many more languages apart from originally being in Marathi.
