Esha Deol recently revealed that she was eve-teased when the film Dus released in Pune. In an episode of The Male Feminist, the actress said she pulled the person out from the crowd and slapped him.
In that episode, she remembered an incident of eve-teasing and said that she could not bear it. She asked others women not to ignore such incidents and raise a voice against it.
While talking about the incident, she said, “It happened in Pune during the premiere of the film Dus which had Sanjay Dutt, Suniel Shetty, Zayed Khan and Abhishek Bachchan. So the premiere was there and we were going through the crowd.”. I entered and all the artists came individually, and there were many strong and big bouncers around me too. Still, however, amidst all this, a man from the crowd touched me inappropriately. Something happened with me and owing to my instant reaction, I held the man’s hand and took him out from the crowd and slapped him.”
Justifying the reason behind her reaction, daughter of actor couple Hema Malini and Dharmendra says, “I am not a hot-tempered person however if someone does something that is beyond my tolerance level then I cant help.”
