Emraan Hashmi thinks Sushant Singh Rajput’s case is being used by people to settle their own scores

Sushant Singh Rajput’s shocking demise has left the entire country in a shock. The 34-year-old actor’s suicide has been ruling social media platforms for the past one and half months. Sushant’s fans are demanding justice for the late actor by calling for a CBI probe. Bollywood celebrities have also been vocal about nepotism and other factors in Bollywood which make it very difficult for an outsider to survive and excel in the industry. With everyone’s discussing the issue, Emraan Hashmi has also voiced out his opinion and stated it has become ‘a bit of a circus’ on social media.

Emraan Hashmi spoke about the debate which is happening over nepotism and how people are talking about the industry in an interview with The New Indian Express. He was quoted saying,”Your heart goes out to his (Sushant) family at this point in time. And you need to allow them to heal through this. It’s become a bit of a circus on social media, and it is something I stay away from. There are a lot of people who have asked me to comment on nepotism and stuff and I say ‘I have already put that out’. It’s been fueled and people have their ego at play, they are kind of bashing each other and they probably have things from the past and they are settling those scores. It seems like that and it is extremely toxic. I hope it ends soon.”
