Elvish Yadav distributed snake venom at rave parties to flaunt his ‘swag’ and grow his fan following – Reports

The case of Elvish Yadav and snake venom has changed. It was revealed about two days after Elvish’s alleged arrest for administering snake venom at rave events. The Bigg Boss OTT 2 winner. Police sources claim that Elvish fed the snake venom in an attempt to “grow his fan base” and show off his “swag.” The YouTuber was sentenced to 14 days in judicial custody.

The most recent report also refutes claims made on Monday by a police source that Elvish admitted his role in the crime. “Yadav did not accept the crime during questioning… but we have a lot of evidence,” a police source told The Indian Express. “For him, it was to make a statement that he’s got’swag’ or ‘bhaukaal’. He wanted to paint a picture among his fans as someone completely unafraid of law-enforcement agencies and can do whatever he wishes.”

Police sources claim that at least six parties, all connected to Elvish, have used snake venom. “Those who attended the parties in question are being identified; appropriate action will be taken against them for using the snake venom,” said a law enforcement officer.

A few months after his name surfaced in the case, Elvish was taken into custody in Noida on Sunday.

Elvish’s name first surfaced in relation to the incidence of snake poisoning from the previous year. Five people were detained in relation to a rave party in November of last year. Nine snakes, including five cobras, were discovered by police during a raid in Noida Sector 49. They also gathered over 20 millilitres of snake venom.

The complaint was filed under the Wildlife Protection Act of 1972 and for criminal conspiracy under Section 120B of the Indian Penal Code.

The arrested group said at the time that they gave Elvish snakes and snake venom for his parties. Elvish, but, refuted this at the time. When he was questioned about the crime on November 7, 2023, he stated that the snakes were provided to the Noida rave party by musician Fazilpuria.
