Divya Agarwal, an actress and Bigg Boss OTT winner, fueled suspicions of divorce with husband Apurva Padgaonkar after she suddenly erased all of their social media images together. While fans expressed worry, she has now broken her silence and posted a lengthy statement on social media clarifying her viewpoint.
Divya posted to Instagram late Monday night and announced that she had erased about 2,500 posts, including those with her husband, Apurva. “I made no noise. I made no comments or stories. I deleted 2500 posts. Yet the media chose to see and react only to my marriage,” she wrote.
Making it clear that all is well in her married life, she added, “It’s funny how people see and expect things out of me. I have always done something people never expected out of me. And what they expecting now – the babies or divorce… none of it is happening.”
Referring to a post about her show Cartel, Divya went on to explain that she wants to be renowned for her work moving forward. “In reality, my first pinned post on my profile is the thing I want to be the talked about from now onwards. Every movie ends with a happily ever after, and by God’s grace, my husband is snoring away to glory right next to me!” she joked.
Divya and Apurva married in a traditional Marathi ceremony in February of this year, following their engagement in 2022. For their wedding, the actress donned a purple lehenga and her husband wore a purple sherwani, instead of the conventional red and beige outfit.
In addition, Divya appeared in Ragini MMS Returns in 2017 with her ex boyfriend Varun Sood and Abhay in 2019.
