Bhakshak follows the story of a local journalist who uncovers the hidden secrets of a shelter home, where young girls are abused. The movie showcases how Bhumi struggles her way to expose this racket and save many innocent lives. It is based on the 2018 Muzaffarpur shelter home case and shows the issues of child abuse.
