
Poonam Pandey died of cervical cancer at the age of 32, her manager declared on Friday. The actress’ demise stunned the entire nation.
However, according to a new article from Times Now states that Poonam died of a drug overdose rather than cervical cancer.
On Friday, Feburary 2, Sharing an official statement, the post on Poonam Pandey’s Instagram about her death read, “This morning is a tough one for us. Deeply saddened to inform you that we have lost our beloved Poonam to cervical cancer. Every living form that ever came in contact with her was met with pure love and kindness. In this time of grief, we would request for privacy while we remember her fondly for all that we shared.”
Earlier today, Poonam’s bodyguard, Amin Khan, reacted to the death news by saying he couldn’t believe it and had tried to contact her sister, but she hadn’t responded.
Khan further revealed that on January 31, he took her to a photo shoot for Rohit Verma at Mumbai’s Phoenix Mill. She always looked fit and fine and never shared anything about her health nor did I find any sign of her ill health. I am waiting for her sister to tell me the truth,” he said, according to reports.
Poonam Pandey one of the most popular and rich models, was born on March 11, 1991, in Kanpur. Her big break came in the 2013 Hindi film Nasha, which stars Aditi Bhattia. She was a model for the International Business Times and became well-known for uploading wild pictures online.
