Jr NTR is currently gearing up for his upcoming Pan India film Devara: Part One. Ever since the initial announcement regarding the movie, fans have been highly anticipating the film. They are eagerly awaiting the release of the action-thriller as it has been buzzing on the internet.
According to a recent update by Gulte, it has been reported that well-known Marathi actress Shruti Marathe from the Marathi film industry has been roped in by the makers of Devara. The actress will be cast alongside Jr NTR and be seen playing a significant role.
Earlier, it has also been reported that Jr NTR will have a double role in his upcoming film. However, the makers haven’t confirmed this piece of information. But if the rumours turn out to be true, fans will witness Jr NTR alongside Shruti and Bollywood diva Janhvi Kapoor.
Last month, Jr NRT shared a new poster from his action-thriller movie, celebrating New Year. On the 8th of January, he even shared the first look at the film, spiking up the audience’s curiosity. Helmed by Koratala Siva, Devara features Jr NTR in a prominent role. While Saif Ali Khan will be playing the prime antagonist in the movie. Janhvi Kapoor will play the female lead in the film.
Devara will be released in two parts, the first instalment was slated to release on the 5th of April. However, recently the release date has been pushed ahead by the makers. Now, the film will be released in the second half of 2024. The reason was stated that the makers do not want to leave any stone unturned and want to deliver a promising film. They want the audience to have a fascinating cinematic experience as the movie should stand true to its hype.
Meanwhile, on the work front, Jr NTR will be next seen in War 2. Helmed by Ayan Mukerji, the film stars Hrithik Roshan, Jr NTR and Kiara Advani in the lead roles. As per reports, Jr NTR will be seen playing the role of antagonist in the film.
