Deepika Padukone kick starts shooting for Shakun Batra directorial, off to Goa

Deepika Padukone left for Goa to start the shoot of her upcoming film with Siddhant Chaturvedi-Ananya Panday directed by Shakun Batra.

Deepika Padukone has made the best out of the lockdown period as she spent some quality time with her husband Ranveer Singh. Right from labelling husband and lentils to giving out major couple goals, Deepika kept her fans hooked to her social media accounts and updated about the daily happenings in her life. Now, the break time seems to be over for the actress as she get backs to her work. As India is opening up slowly but steadily, Bollywood too is set to commence the shoot of their pending and upcoming projects.

On Friday, Deepika Padukone was snapped at Mumbai, Kalina airport as she dashed off to Goa. The actress is all set to kick-start the shoot of her upcoming film, helmed by Shakun Batra. Deepika’s next co-stars are Ananya Panday and Siddhant Chaturvedi aka Gully boy MC Sher. At the airport, the actress as seen wearing a Bottle Green dress. Wearing a white mask and white sneakers, she concluded her look with a high-pony and pink sling bag.

Deepika, Ananya and Siddhant’s untitled movie will, as of now, hit the theatres on February 12, 2021. Earlier talking about the same, Karan Johar had told Bombay Times, “Shakun has directed one of the most acclaimed films of Dharma Productions — Kapoor & Sons. With this movie, he also turns producer with us. His upcoming directorial is an intriguing relationship drama, which will release on Valentine’s Day 2021. I am proud and excited about Shakun’s vision as a versatile filmmaker.”
